With spring in the air, it’s time to go flying. I recently came across a couple of templates for paper airplanes, and thought I’d post them here. If you can’t get outside, then might as well have some fun inside! Thanks to Christina Sestan of Citrus Coaching for the idea...
Also, did you know that the longest paper airplane flight on record, as recognized by the Guiness Book of World Records, is 27.6 seconds, set in the Georgia Dome? It was set by Ken Blackburn in 1998. Enjoy!
UPDATE: Takuo Toda set a new record for longest paper airplane flight at a competition in Hiroshima Prefecture in April of 2009. His record flight topped Blackburn's by 0.3 seconds. He folded his plane, measuring approximately 10cm in length, from a single sheet of paper.
